We built ShowerSafety because the logbook kept getting wet.
ShowerSafety is a trading name of FixMyPool Ltd, a small UK software company that builds compliance tools for the people who look after buildings and the water in them.
Why we built it
Paper logbooks are where good intentions go to be forgotten. They live in a plant room, get filled in at the end of the month from memory, and are never quite where you need them when the inspector arrives.
We wanted the checks to come to the person doing them, at the right time, on the phone already in their pocket — and the record to be there, complete, the moment someone asks for it.
ShowerSafety is built by Neil Sanderson. Neil works as a pool plant operator and is involved in water-safety compliance where he works, so he knows these checks from the side of the person holding the thermometer. He has also spent around 20 years running websites and content management systems, and five years building and hosting web services, which grew into CloudCanopy. ShowerSafety, like its sister product PoolComply, is what you get when those two jobs meet: compliance software built by someone who does the checks.
How we work
Plain English
Guidance written for the person holding the thermometer, not for a lawyer.
Evidence, not promises
We'll never tell you software makes you compliant. We help you do the work and prove it.
Small and UK-based
When you write to us, you'll hear back from someone who built the product.
