Does ShowerSafety make us compliant?
No software can. Your duty holder and Responsible Person are still responsible for the control scheme. ShowerSafety helps you carry it out on time and evidence that you have — with records an inspector can read.
What counts as an "outlet"?
Every shower, tap and outlet on your register — usually five or six per room (shower, basin, bath, WC cistern), plus kitchens, plant and communal areas. A 70-room hotel and spa has about 400.
What if staff have no signal in the plant room?
They log as normal. Entries are saved on the phone with the time the check was actually done, and sent as soon as it reconnects.
Can we bring our existing records?
You can set up your outlets in bulk — a whole floor at a time. Past paper records aren't imported: keep them alongside for their five years, and ShowerSafety holds everything from the day you start.
